Genre: Horror/Psychological Thriller/Slasher Movie Comparison: It Follows meets Get Out meets Nightmare on Elm Street A young black college student, Maria, forced to leave her dorm after having a fight with her roommate, takes a nighttime stroll to walk off her anger. She comes across a peculiar phenomenon: a hunched figure standing under a streetlamp. She narrowly evades the figure, but now no matter what she does in the following days, she finds herself stalked by it. But there's a catch: all of her friends who are people of color can see the figure and help her evade it, but none of her white friends can see it. Her friends who are people of color also find themselves stalked by the same figure. Even face-to-face with it, her white friends cannot see it at all and are unharmed by it, and can only see it while touching it. Maria and her friends now have to work together in a diverse group to destroy the figure before it kills everyone on its list.
