This episode, available on Netflix, running from 20:06-22:45, is one of the most psychologically terrifying scenes I have ever seen in my entire life, right next to the exorcism scene in The Conjuring  that still terrifies me even after my third viewing. But I want to talk about this lesser known scene, this overlooked masterpiece. The scene contains Tate Langdon's story about the Montgomerys, the first owners of the "Murder House," as the locals in the show have dubbed it, the very owners who started the house's grim reputation. My field of study is Media and Culture with a double major in Creative Writing and Marketing minor. Media and Culture deals with my passion of learning about all kinds of media, specifically film. I'm required to double major in the MJF Department so I chose my next passion, creative writing. It's my life's dream to become a film screenwriter and director, with a successful career as an author on the side. My minor in marketing is honestly to please my parents who want me to have the potential to get a "real job."
